Accessibility by default: three examples of EU funding:
GreenSCENT, MILE and MediaVerse

At the Zero Project Conference held in Vienna, Pilar Orero and Marta Brescia Zapata from Transmedia Catalonia presented on the role of accessibility in three EU-funded projects. Pilar Orero presented on the significance of accessibility in GreenSCENT, MILE, and MediaVerse, highlighting the accessibility-by-default approach being implemented in all IT-related industries.
On the other hand, Marta Brescia Zapata presented the GreenVerse platform, an immersive storytelling demonstrator developed in GreenSCENT, and showcased its various accessibility features.
The presentation’s success signifies the growing application of accessibility beyond research, expanding into other fields such as Media Sustainability.
